It's a refugee camp like so many others. Rows of battered tents. Children dash down the worn dirt paths. Women boil rice and meagre vegetables on cook stoves. But here in the Avepozo Refugee Camp in Togo, a group of refugees from Cote d'Ivoire have become movie stars. The camp was set up in 2011 after violence in Cote d'Ivoire forced many nationals to flee. Since 2012, Director Adrien Kpan has been hiring talented refugees to act in his shows and productions which air on Togolese television. Some already had acting experience, but taxi drivers, stay at home moms and students have taken this chance to dream of Hollywood.
