Stephanie Knopp has been an active photographer for over twenty-five years. She has exhibited her photography in many national and international venues. She has had one-woman shows at Ithaca College, (Ithaca, NY), the Philadelphia Art Alliance (Philadelphia, PA), and most recently, Lincoln University in Lincoln, England. Her photography had been shown in many juried group shows, including Photomedia (Photomedia Center, Erie, PA), Photonational (Erie Art Museum, Erie, PA), Illuminance (Buddy Holly Center, Lubbock, TX), American Vision, (National Artists? Alliance, New York, NY), Light Sensitive (Thomas Center Galleries, Gainesville, FL), Photo/Flow (University of Texas at Arlington), and Photospiva (Spiva Art Center, Joplin, MO). Her work is in the permanent collection of Handwerker Gallery in Ithaca, NY and the Erie (NY) Art Museum. Ithaca College, (Ithaca, NY). She recently was awarded best in show in the Images 2007 National Photography Exhibition in University Park, PA. Knopp is a professor at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA. She received her BA from Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and her MFA from the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA.
