Spheres

The Spheres is a part on the Unknown Land series. We created our spheres using canvas and plaster and got them into inspiring landscapes.

Katia Platonova (plato-nova) was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and her early works were an attempt to penetrate into the secrets of this misty city. In her current artist's research she is interested in various approaches. She works in a symbolic style (Man in Hat, Unknown Land series), eliminates the subject altogether in an abstract impressionism way (Earth Bloom series) or attentive to details (Platinum Sand series). Works are in the collection of the Russian Museum (Photobiennale II, III), some galleries, private collections. Part of the works are being created in collaboration with Andrey Kazakov.
