Kumbh Mela

Samsara~ All scenes were taken in 2013 near Triveni Sangam, Allahabad. The images show pilgrims, devotees, Nagas and Juna Akhara Sadhus of the Maha Kumbh Mela - the largest spiritual gathering on the planet, held every 12 years. Though every religion is welcomed, mainly Hindus crossing the rivers Ganga and Yamuna to reach the holy sangam for a cleansing dip. Kumbh Mela, Allahabad, India
