This is me
Karina Sechi is a spanish and venezuelan lawyer and photographer. She grew up in Venezuela, travelled extensively and lived in Spain, France, Mexico and Brazil. During these years, she practiced surfing, rock-climbing, hiking and mountain biking. An amateur photographer since childhood, she studied at the Panamericana Arts School in São Paulo, majoring in Photography and participating in many photography workshops with Spanish and Brazilian specialists. Since 2012, she has participated in several international shows and art festivals in Venice, Turin, Padova, Cittadella, Milano, Spezia, New York, San Francisco, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Miami, Salvador de Bahía, Camaçari, São Paulo, Vilnius, London, and Barcelona. Her pictures have been recognized with more than 20 international awards. Karina is one of the 50 best emerging photographers for 2015, as voted by the eight-member international jury for the LensCulture Emerging Talent Awards. She loves outdoors and nature Photography, sports, travels and people. She speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French and a bit of English. Karina is now developing her website. _________________________ Solo exhibitions: • Parallel to the 55 Venice biennale Art circuit, 25 pictures at the Palace Ca'Zanardi for the Gallery "Ad-Art", in the International exhibition of contemporary art “Clouds” 2013, Venice, Italy. • Multi-installation Rosa Valente (Brave rose), selection of videos and 46 pictures was exposed of the "Mirate" (look at yourself Project), which intended to employ art to fight breast cáncer. Photos of more than 500 persons who invited the booth were taken. Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2013, Sesc Bom Retiro, São Paulo/Brazil.
