Entry Description

More than 2 million people have fled Syria to surrounding countries since 2011. Amongst 130,000 death civilians, more than 11,000 children aged 17 years and younger had been recorded killed. Istanbul has become a home of sorts for those war victims: women sitting with their backs against the walls and begging silently, grubby children - at the school age - playing in the squares with torn clothes. Although their voice have been lost in the war, the call for mercy in their eyes is still there to express their fears, hopes, losts, dreams, nightmares!
