Diego, florist and electric guitar player

Diego works as a florist in Zinacantan (Mexico) and he's a guitar player. In his village the main activity is the growing and selling of flowers. In the free time, he plays with Lumaltok, a rock band that sings in Mayan-Tsotsil with the aim to promote and defend this indigenous language.

Born in 1979, in Lodano, Switzerland. 2007 master in photography, EFTI Madrid (workshops with Mary Ellen Mark, Stuart Franklin, Jane Evelyn Atwood, Cristina Garcia Rodero?), Campus Photoespaña07 (workshop with Christopher Anderson), Campus Photoespaña08 (workshop with Paul Graham). Fondo Internazionale Orvieto, Italy 2007 ? bronze award. Festimage08, Chaves, Portugal ? finalist.
