Once we've left something dear to our heart, the memories of it remain with us wherever we go, whatever we become. No matter how exciting a new experience is, what really warms up our souls is the feeling of what and where we used to be. When stepping on the glazed pavement of the brand new block of flats, the feeling of wet soil under your bare feet is what you'd probably recall.
I was born in Moscow, Russia in the early 1980-s. Finished Photography BA course in 2013 and in 2015 graduated from a 1 year course of Digital Compositing for cinema. Doing some freelance work in both photography and compositing sometimes. In 2010-s I moved to Canada, spend 5 years there and now live in the Netherlands. I always stick to pure photography with no means of adaptation or installation. Transforming a real object into an interpretable artistic image by composition, withdrawing it out of the context, making it independent and giving it a new life is what photography means to me.
