Take the Cake

'Take the Cake' explores the term 'give them an inch and they take a mile' in relation to how the generosity of a person can be taken advantaged of and leave them the victim suffering at the result of their own kindness.

My name is Kimberley Munro and I completed Bachelor of Photography this year at Photography studies college in Southbank, Melbourne. I'm a conceptual illustrative photographer whose work is heavily treated in Photoshop to reach unrealistic and creative outcomes. I'm inspired by pop surreal and macabre artists like Tim Burton, H.R Giger and Mark Ryden which influence twists of quirky and horror qualities to my work.
