Babylon - Made In Italy

This work is inspired by the story of Babylon Tower of the Old Testament, Pieter Bruegel's famous painting "The Great Tower of Babel" from the middle of the sixteenth century and my trip to the beautiful Cinque-Terre in Italy.

Where is the line between truth and falsehood? Between illusion and reality? There’s a famous phrase - "Fiction reveals truth that reality obscures". Truthful fiction is the basis of my creative style. Fiction may not reflect the reality as we know it, yet conveys a deep, accurate and true message. I draw my inspiration from sources such as Renaissance paintings and allegories. I uses allegories to express her understanding of the world and talk about what's important to me today.
