A whirlwind of ash that surrounds being and dissolves it in the power of nature ... an alienating effect that produces awe and wonder, reflecting the ongoing debate between human finitude and eternity of Creation.
Alessandro Romeo was born in Messina in 1977 and began his artistic preference for press photography and reportage. Since 2012 he joined the editorial staff of “I Siciliani giovani" and “I Cordai", publishing stories in images and collaborating as Photo Editor and for the organization of courses of journalistic photography. From the same year is also Director of Photography for the television program UrbanWeek in Catania, where he lives and works. In 2013 wins: the first edition of Young Factory, prize for emerging artists in the contemporary art fair Art Factory 03, the national photographic competition ANCE | Catania Urban Landscapes, and exposes for the first time abroad, in Budapest, in the exhibition ‘tLa Grande Migration', curated by art historian Delia Vekony. In 2014, with the project ‘Sinestesie della Memoria' exhibited at Art Factory 04 in a dedicated stand.
