Through such artistic interpretation, Yohanes presents the Elephant icon of the relief series located on the walls of Borobudur which visualizes the interaction among the society and their surroundings. At that time, elephants were among the society's daily life being utilized for transportation, front liners on the battlefield, carriers, and as significant elements of religious rituals or ceremonies. The mosaic of principles and artistic impressions in one frame shall display a deeper expression and interpretation toward experiencing the past, present and future life.
â??Do What I like To Doâ?? Denote my deepest passion that Iâ??ve continually dreaming on fulfilling since Iâ??ve worked as an employee, those words always crossed into my mind and even disturbed my resting moment once in while. As of the beginning of 2011 Iâ??ve decided to make those words come true and seriously start living my passion. Photography has been the subject Iâ??ve fell in love with since senior high school and such love has grown deeper and stronger up until now, photography has always been my passion which kept me going on living my days as well as the one biggest milestone in my life for stepping forward to the future. Currently, Iâ??m Seriously focusing on fine art photography in the black and white format, I personally thing that black and white are not merely about the prefection of the worldâ??s nature duplication captured in precise and high accuracy but my way of showing the worls and surroundings their artistic expression and interpretation, whereas also showing small elements more than that what was captured.
