"The road to the future" is an ongoing photographic project that aims to document the conditions and the accessibility of studies in the educational path of the African continent. At the moment, the first chapter of this photographic report covers some primary and secondary schools in Mugunda, Kenya. The construction and commissioning of many of those schools was made possible thank to the work and interests of Don Romano Filippi, a missionary priest who works in that area for more than forty years.
I'm 43 years old and I'm collecting visual notes for a lifetime. However, I understand that I have just begun. I can't take photos how much I would because I'm also working in a pharmacy to keep photographing what I like. I like shoot people and the story behind them. Since May 2012, I joined the National Association of Professional Photographers ( Tau Visual ) because I want to do things in the right way and I hate improvisation. I believe that there are two ways to tell the reality with photography: inventing or discovering it. I prefer to discover.
