These images are made based on a concept of capturing fragments of an alchemist who sits in his lab all day every day, day-dreaming of various unreal things. I am creating fairy-tales with my photography. My aim with this project is to overcome the boarder between real and imaginary, so I make all the objects in the image first, and simply click the shutter once straight. That I think makes the imaginary actually exist in the real world. To emphasize this effect, all images are made with 8x10" film camera, Gelatin Silver Print.
