Late in December 2010 we rescued a 3 week old orphaned Namib Desert elephant, he became Eddy, he grabbed our hearts with his little trunk, we struggled 24 hours a day for 31 days to keep him alive and ultimately failed. His impact on all those who became his car givers was enormous and forever. the images with the human are all hand held, self portraits.
