Gaspard&Dancers

This work is part of an ongoing collaboration with the dance company Gaspard&Dancers and their artistic director Gaspard Louis. The project is designed to create PR images for the company, inspire the artistic director to create new and different work and to create fine art. All the images are done in a dance studio and are as photographed and not photoshopped together. The dancers ability to use their bodies to create art always amazes me and it is a joy to work with them. Being able to use the camera and our collaboration to bring new choreography to life adds a dimension and depth to the photo shoot and I love seeing what we created in the studio come to life on the stage. I hope that you are as inspired by these artists as I am.

Robin Gallant was born and raised in New York and is currently living in North Carolina. She has a Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently directing a charitable foundation and exploring her passion of photographing dance and movement. Gallant has had several exhibits and has won an award for her dance photography.
