Survival. Women and street food will emphasize a habitual way of life in Vietnam, especially in the historic center of the capital, Hanoi; and at the same time bring to light that this work is done painstakingly by a very high percentage of women. Women who every day and every night preparing, cooking and selling an incredible amount of food, be it fruit and vegetables in baskets or heavy dishes to be cooked on the spot. This also calls for the work to transport and install small stoves, street stalls, sinks as improvise on the sidewalk in order to carry out this work walking to assemble and disassemble every day, every day without interruption.

About Photographer

With her Italian - Argentinean origins, she grew up in her parents’ photo studio, experiencing photography since she was very young.As she moved on to Italy, she has been keeping on documenting private life preserving her passion for photography. Photography is for her an ever more evident expressive need, a way of channelling her urgent desire for creativity and communication. In her photographic tales she is interested in the anthropological aspect, but with an eye to aesthetics.
