Entry Description

The photo shows a rare atmospheric phenomenon known as the halo effect as well as the parhelia effect it is an interesting optical phenomenon in the sky, created from the refraction of light in a cloud containing ice crystals. It appears as a colored, white or mostly white, luminous ring in the center of the sun's disk. The picture was taken in the Polish Tatra Mountains.
