Life in Transition; Myanmar After almost four decades of self-imposed isolation, in 2010, Myanmar (Burma), a multi-ethnic country with long history, has peacefully reopened to the world. The transitional movement was evident with a ceasefire agreement and followed by a general election. Since then, Myanmar became world news in almost all aspects, and the outside world has been willing and eager to participate in the turbulent transitional flow of Myanmar.
I am, a medical doctor and a serious amateur photographer, based in Bangkok, Thailand. I observe and take photos of real people’s life. I am always fascinated with what people in my photographs did. For me, the only way to get it real is to observe without interfering, without letting them aware of my existence.
