Entry Description

The beauty of calla lilies offers numerous interpretations. Is their shape like a wave coming toward you, or is it like a trumpet calling out to you? Their silk white surface and subtle lines gives rise to sensual or even sexual interpretations. For this series I was inspired by the work of Robert Mapplethorpe and his master printer Tom Baril.
